Abstract
Purpose: This study¡¯s purpose was to identify the effects of neurofeedback(NF), cranio-sacral therapy (CST), and mixed therapy(NF+CST) on reducing fatigue and increasing stress resistance.

Methods: There were 71 middle-aged women in this study(17 in the NF group, 17 in the CST group, 19 in the mixed group, and 18 in the control group). It was designed as a non-equivalent control pre-test/post-test study. The experimental treatments were NF training(30 minutes per session, 3 times a week, for a total of 30 treatments in 10 weeks), CST(60 minutes per session, once a week, for a total of 10 treatments in 10 weeks), and Mixed Therapy. The effects of treatments were measured as an attention quotient for the degree of fatigue and an anti-stress quotient for the stress symptoms. The data was analyzed by SPSS Win 13.0.

Results: Fatigue levels decreased and stress resistance increased significantly in the experimental groups after the NF, CST, and Mixed Therapy.

Conclusion: NF, CST, and mixed therapy showed positive effects on reducing fatigue and increasing stress resistance in middle aged women. Therefore, these alternative therapy programs have great potential to be effective nursing interventions for Korean middle aged women.
